Client Stories

Testimonials and project accounts from single-site mining operators who worked with Utilitysycamore on mid-range equipment.

What Operators Say

We needed 64 Antminer S19 units staged in our Gyeongnam shed without blowing the 400-amp service. Utilitysycamore mapped the breaker layout before we signed the purchase order — saved us a costly panel upgrade.
— Han Ji-won, poultry-farm conversion site, Changwon
The commissioning crew stayed two extra days to re-balance airflow after our roof vent underperformed. Honest about the limitation of the original duct plan, though I wish the written report had arrived a day sooner.
— Park Seung-ho, container-yard operator, Ulsan
So-yeon's power assessment caught a shared-neutral issue our electrician missed. We ran 38 units at 0.09 TH/s each without a single breaker trip through the first summer.
— Kim Young-rae, warehouse conversion, Gimhae
Maintenance retainer pays for itself when you factor in the fan replacements they stock on the truck. Only gripe: the Q3 visit was rescheduled once due to typhoon warnings, which was understandable but pushed our thermal check back two weeks.
— Lee Min-kyung, 52-unit yard, Yangsan

Project Account: Changwon Poultry Barn Conversion

Client: Han Ji-won
Scope: 64× Antminer S19 (95 TH/s each) in a repurposed poultry barn
Challenge: Existing 400-amp three-phase service with limited headroom and poor natural ventilation through south-facing louvers.

Han approached us in March 2024 after two failed attempts to source hardware through overseas brokers who could not visit the site. Our power assessment identified that 64 units would exceed safe load at full hash rate, so we recommended a staged deployment: 48 units on the main panel and 16 on a secondary feed after a targeted sub-panel installation.

Commissioning took four days. We documented inlet temperatures averaging 31 °C in late spring and recommended additional exhaust fans before the July heat wave. Han added the cooling retrofit in June at a separate quoted price. By August, the yard sustained full hash rate with inlet temps below 34 °C.

Outcome: 48 units operational within budget; secondary feed completed in phase two. Han reports stable operation through two seasons.

Project Account: Ulsan Container Row Cooling

Client: Park Seung-ho
Scope: Cooling retrofit for three 40-foot containers housing 120 mid-range units
Challenge: Salt-air corrosion on existing ductwork and inlet temperatures exceeding 38 °C during humid weeks.

Park’s containers were producing hash but throttling 15–20% during August afternoons. Our assessment measured a 14 °C delta-T between inlet and exhaust — well below the 22 °C target for sustained full-rate operation.

We replaced corroded galvanized duct with marine-grade aluminium, installed variable-speed exhaust fans on each container, and added inlet baffles to prevent recirculation. Post-retrofit readings showed inlet temps dropping to 32 °C on equivalent days.

Outcome: Hash-rate recovery of approximately 18% during peak heat. Park enrolled in our maintenance retainer for quarterly inspections.
