About Utilitysycamore Mining Review

Our history, team, and approach to mid-range mining equipment advisory for single-site operators in South Korea since 2019.

Registered Business

Utilitysycamore Mining Review Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name of this company. We were established in 2019 in Busan, South Korea, to fill a gap between large-scale mining consultancies and informal online hardware forums.

How We Started

Founder Min-jun Chae spent four years maintaining GPU rigs at a small co-location facility in Gijang before recognising that most operators in the 0.05–5 TH/s per-unit range had nowhere to turn for honest hardware comparisons and on-site commissioning. Utilitysycamore began as a two-person workshop reviewing used ASIC batches for local buyers. By 2021 we added electrical assessment and procurement coordination as single-site yards multiplied along the southern coast.

What We Do Today

We remain focused on mid-range equipment — units rated at 0.05 TH/s and above that a single operator can manage from one yard. Our Busan office houses a testing bench where incoming hardware is hash-rate verified before shipment to client sites. We do not sell hash rate, operate pools, or manage remote fleets.

Our Team

Working Approach

We visit your site before recommending hardware. Every procurement shortlist includes watt-per-TH figures measured on our bench, not manufacturer spec sheets alone. We document what we find — including shortcomings — because a yard that overheats in August costs more than any commission we earn.

Values

Community

We sponsor quarterly meetups at our Demo-ro office where operators share cooling setups and power-contract lessons. Attendance is free for active clients and open to prospective operators by registration through our contact form.
